That’s because building a model serves as a dress rehearsal for the actual construction, so when you’re in the shop you can work faster and with fewer costly mistakes. Using SketchUp smartly means following the four good practices that David outlines. You’ll see how they make it easy to create complex models of furniture and cabinets quickly, cleanly, and—most importantly—accurately.
