I have been teaching FCS subject matter for the past 20 years in Huntington Beach, CA.  My favorite subjects to teach are creative ones!  Fashion Design, Interior Design, and everything in-between.  I am well suited for this job because I enjoy being active and being very interactive with my students.  This job has encouraged me to challenge myself and learn more about my subject matter, technology and new emerging trends in the industries that I teach.  Earlier this year myself and Mindy Trisko - an FCS teacher from up in Northern California, started a weekly Zoom call with other fashion and interior design teachers across the United States.  It has been helpful to learn from others and to share lessons and ideas with so many different people.  It's probably one of the most valuable things I have done for my career.  IF you wish to have a link to our zoom meetings - email me at lbratcher@hbuhsd.edu and we will send you a link to our call.
