Josh is the SketchUp Training Manager (for SketchUp’s in-person classes) and a Customer Success Manager on the mighty CSM team. He’s been on the Trimble SketchUp team since 2013 (plus one year as a Google SketchUp Trainer back in 2008/2009). Since 2013, he has been a part of the Knowledge, Marketing, and Sales departments. Josh has an Environmental Design / Architecture degree from the University of Colorado and has used SketchUp in small design firms and for a variety of industries as a 3D visualization consultant. He started using SketchUp circa 2004, and he has been to every 3D Basecamp since 2008. 

Josh was born in Canada (Calgary), grew up in Loveland, Colorado, lived in Boulder for 19 years, and now lives in San Luis Obispo, CA with his partner, Tammy Cody. (You'll see Tammy on the 3D Basecamp speaker roster leading a bunch of great sessions for the interior design realm.) 

When he’s not leading SketchUp training classes for companies looking to take their SketchUp skills to the next level, Josh enjoys spending time wherever there’s a stream or river tumbling down some mountainous terrain, and perhaps a campfire nearby. 

→ Fun Fact: Josh was the first scale figure in SketchUp for Web. His faceless red-shirted alias was hanging out on the axes starting in 2016.
